What is Person BTEC?

A student will be able to:

  • Communicate knowledge and understanding of several of the major contexts within which accounting operates, based on a critical evaluation of related theoretical and conceptual frameworks and of empirical evidence as to its effects;
  • Communicate knowledge and understanding of, and appropriate ability to use and critically evaluate, current and major alternative technical languages and practices of accounting, together with appropriate ability to apply them;
  • Record and summarise financial data and prepare financial statements; 
Manipulate financial and other numerical data and appropriate understanding of and ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts
What programs do you offer?

We offer a full academic pathway including a Prep Module, Foundation Year, Higher National Diploma (HND), and final-year top-up degrees in partnership with the University of Essex. Popular majors include Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Marketing, and Hospitality.

Do I need an IELTS certificate to apply?

No, we accept the APTIS test by the British Council (minimum B2 level). Other English qualifications like IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE are also accepted.

Can I transfer to the UK after studying in Vietnam?

Yes. Students who complete the required modules and meet academic standards can transfer to our partner university—the University of Essex—to complete their final year and graduate with a full UK degree.

Is the degree I receive the same as studying in the UK?

Yes. The final degree is awarded by the University of Essex and holds the same international recognition as if you studied entirely in the UK.

What are the tuition fees?

Tuition fees vary by program. On average, the Prep Module and Foundation Year are more affordable than international tuition, and we provide a transparent fee structure with scholarships and flexible payment options. Please contact our admissions team for the latest pricing.

What support do you offer to students?

KCB Vietnam offers academic guidance, English language support, career services, internship placement opportunities, and personalized mentoring throughout your studies.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes. We offer merit-based and need-based scholarships for eligible students. Details are shared during the admissions process or Open Day events.

Is KCB Vietnam recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education?

While our programs follow UK accreditation and are delivered under international partnership agreements, please note that recognition within Vietnam may differ based on program type and graduate goals. Our degrees are internationally valid and accepted globally.
